USE

Intensity relay for asynchronous single phase electric motors with starting capacitor.
The KLIXON 2CR4 is used for commuting the winding coil in replacement of an existing relay or centrifugal switch.

Connection: Main winding terminals 3 and 4 - winding start terminal 2 (see diagram).

• When the motor is turned on, the inrush current excites the relay coil which closes the contact between terminals 2 and 3 and starts the engine.
• When the engine starts, the starting current decreases (trigger point). The contact opens automatically and the startup circuit closes. The motor is in normal operation.
