USE

Inverse contact for dry running protection of water pumps.
This device is also used with fire protection installations or in the case of pipe rupture monitoring systems.
The pressure switch stops the pump (contacts open) when the pressure in the system drops below the set value (pressure off) of the LP3 switch.
To restart the pump (contacts closed), you must press the manual reset button.

Conditions of use:
  • Maximum temperature : 55 °C.
  • Nominal voltage: 250 V.
  • Differential max. 2.6 bar and min. 0.3 bar.
  • Pressure for contacts closed: 0.5 to 1.8 bar.
  • Factory settings : 1,5 max - 0,5 bar min.

In autoclave systems, it is connected in series with a PM / 5 pressure switch to protect the electro-pump against dry running.
Resetting is automatic when the pressure exceeds the set start value, or manual by pushing the button on the cover.

Membrane in food grade rubber NBR reinforced with fabric.
