USE

The GUARDIAN is a manual control and automatic protection unit for all types of pumps (submersible or surface).

Advantages :
The setting of the overload protection is done with a scale potentiometer, in the event of over-current, power surge, phase failure, or short-circuit, the pump is stopped.
Control of the water level does not require installing eletrodes. This unit checks the cosine value φ (power factor) absorbed by the motor.
In the event of water shortage, 4 reactivation tests of the pump are automatically carried out after intervals of 10, 22, 45 and 90 minutes (SB - Stand By).
If the anomaly persists, the pump will stop definitively and UL will appear.
This unit can be connected to different control systems: pressure switches, level regulators, alarms, etc…
All these controls are low voltage.

The GUARDIAN M single phase model is suitable for integrating the capacitor used by the pump, (capacitor supplied on request).

50 : Self-diagnostic test at start-up, display of frequency.
During operation: Display of current SB flashing (Stand By).
Water shortage test

  • UL (Un Load) : Water shortage (final stop after last test).
  • OL (Over Load) : Disconnection (total stop) after overcurrent.



Once the operating anomaly has been eliminated, cut off the power supply to the unit and put it back on. This will reset all its functions.
