USE

Standard submersible pump motor, for use in all brands of submersible pump.

Conditions of use:
  • The motor, in standard use, functions when submerged in fresh water, which is free of gas and abrasive substances.
  • Water temperature should not exceed 30°C and the speed of water flow along the outer motor sleeve should not be under 0,3 m/ sec. (If water temperatures are higher, a reduction in power may be required.)
  • Using the motor in any other liquid apart from water is forbidden, especially if there are substances derived from hydrocarbons such as petrol, oil, kerosene etc...
  • Do not use in an area where there is a risk of explosion.
  • The motor should never be used out of water, (only for a brief period to check the direction of rotation).

Technical characteristics

  • Standard operating voltage and frequency: 230V/50 Hz - 400V/50
  • Voltage tolerance: +5% -10%
  • All the 60 Hz versions are standard with service factor as required by NEMA standard, 15% start up variant: DOL (direct on line). Direct power supply with a single power cable.
  • STAR / DELTA: with two power supply cables (this type of start up should be specified at time of ordering the motor, and a starter box should be provided).
  • Rotation speed: the motor is 2 yoles: whose synchronization speed is 3000 rpm for a 50 Hz network and 3600 rpm for a 60 Hz network. ( one must take into account a slippage of 2% entailing a loss of speed against thhe synchronization speed.).
  • Powers: 4 KW; 5,5 KW; 7,5 KW ; 9,4 KW ; 11 KW; 15 KW ; 18,7 KW 22 KW; 30 KW; 37,5 KW.
  • Coupling: flange and shaft as required by NEMA standard.
  • Type de protection: IP 68.
