Construction principle:
4" asychronous submersible 2 pole electric motor; made entirely of stainless steel for the parts in contact with water.
The cooling and lubrication of the thrust bearing and bushing are ensured by a mixture of water and glycol, as required by the law for the protection for food uses. (Mixture of distilled water with 20% polypropylene glycol and glycol).
The rotor is mounted on a Kingsbury self-centering thrust bearing designed for bearing high axle loads.
The stator is enclosed in a sealed jacket with flanges and inner and outer motor sleeve in AISI 304L stainless steel.
The connector can be removed from the cable to enable simple and quick maintenance tasks.
The cable is certified ACS, WRAS and KTW. The motor is suitable for use with a speed controller (30 Hz-50 Hz).
Slide bearings lubricated with water. The axial stop is the tilting pad type (Kingsbury) with carbon disk.
Compensating bellow for volume variation of internal liquid.
Cable with removable connector with water-tight seal.
Before final installation one must check that:
- Motor power is adapted to the pump being coupled.
- Voltage and number of phases correspond to the power supply available.
- The main power supply can support the power of the motor.
- For the 50 Hz single phase mode, the capacitor and manual reset overcurrent protection have been placed in the electrical box provided separately.
- For the three phase model, the protection must be provided by the user.
Oil-filled motor.
- Standard NEMA 4" flanges.

- Built-in thermal protection in single phase up to 1,1 kW.
All motors are delivered with a connector.
The electrical lead is included:
- 1,7 m in length for motors up to and including 2.2 kW.
- 2,7 m in length for 3 kW and above motors.
- 3,5 m in length for 7,5 kW motors.
Voltage tolerance : +6% -10%.
IP68 protection.
